Robinson Preserve is a salt marsh in Bradenton Fl located minutes from Anna Maria Island. The preserve is home to jumping mullet and hundreds of other species of fish and other marine life. This preserve is a 600+-acre coastal preserve located in northwestern Bradenton.The interior of the preserve features hiking paths, kayak and canoe waterways, bridges, picnic spots, mangrove forests and a 53-foot-tall tower with a wide-open view of the Tampa Bay area. The 120-year-old Valentine House, moved to the preserve by barge, is near the entrance to the property and is now Robinson’s information/welcome center. The Preserve is growing and has exciting news to announce!! With constant additions to this area the county is working very hard to finish a new expansion area that includes a new kayak launch, hiking and running trails, viewing mound, additional parking and restrooms, an education center for different classes, and expansive paddling trails!  This new area is filled with exotic flat woods and will make a wonderful addition to the Robinson Preserve.
A great way to experience the park is from the water! Kayaking and Paddle Boarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S.A.! You can rent a kayak or paddle board with kayak-jack.com.
